This drop contains a special edition piano live verison of my song \"Just Because It's Christmas (Out of the Trenches)\".

This NFT also contains an additional demo of a new song \"Something To Believe In\"

The proceeds from this Drop will be donated to St Mungos homeless charity in the UK.

\"Just because it's Christmas (Out of the Trenches)\" was written and released in aid of St Mungo's homeless charity - inspired by the life of Tracy Isted.

I first met Tracy in 2022 when working with homeless charity, St Mungo's on a series of promotional documentary films. Tracy is a true hero. Becoming homeless in London at just 22, she spent 18 years on the streets.

With all odds stacked against her, she made it through and off the streets with the support of St Mungo's. She now works as a St Mungo's volunteer and lives a fulfilling life in North London.

What struck me most about Tracy's story was that homelessness could happen to anyone - everyone is just a series of unfortunate events away from homelessness.

Tracy recalled that Christmas was her loneliest time on the streets - whilst everyone was busy shopping and celebrating with loved ones - she was alone on the freezing streets, reminded of everything she didn't have.

Just because it's Christmas (Out of the Trenches)\" is about the loneliness of sleeping rough and how cruel the streets of London can be. The song and accompanying video aims to present a flicker of Tracy's experience - urging people to emphasise and have compassion for others.

Lewis Knaggs is a British singer, songwriter, musician and filmmaker.

Fusing indie rock, americana and grunge - his powerful vocals and melodic guitar hooks combine with heartfelt, introspective lyrics. The result is his distinctively loud yet thoughtful sound. Lewis was born and raised in North London - to a Californian father and a Welsh mother - surrounded by music. Now a successful Video Director - having worked with the likes of Metallica, Coldplay, Burna Boy, London Grammar, Ed Sheeran & St Mungos - Lewis combines his creative passions to produce all his own music videos, artwork and visual content. Songwriting is an essential life-line for Lewis.

Channeling universal feelings of grief, loss, love, and the struggles of modern life - his music connects, empowers and uplifts. 2024 saw Lewis support White Lies on their sold out UK Tour, to great acclaim. In early 2025 he will release his new seven track EP - â€˜Forever Fallingâ€™.

Collaborations on the EP include Donnie Borzestowski of Gangs of Youth; Charles Cave of White Lies; and Blaine Harrison of Mystery Jets. The EP was mixed by Richard Wilkinson, Recording Engineer on Adeleâ€™s debut album, 19.
