Rob Slater has been writing song lyrics since he could start writing sentences. He taught himself enough guitar to be able to write melodies to go along with them. These are some of the songs he wrote as a minor songwriter [under the age of 21] and few from his early adulthood.

His influences are pretty obvious: Petty, Springsteen, Blue Rodeo, Everly Brothers, and Melissa Etheridge.

He's got a couple more albums worth of music to record, but ADHD is not a horrible enough taskmaster to finish them. Now that he's gotten a several books out, he's promising to get in the studio and record them. Unfortunately, he's got to finish building the studio first. So, for now, enjoy the songs he's gotten recorded in a half-vast manner and hope that time being helps him get some work done.
