Description
It was the day of the big hill race at school. The sun peeked through the trees as the kids lined up at the top of the grassy hill, ready to
run. My heart was thumping so fast, it felt like a drum in my chest. "Ready, set, go!" shouted the teacher, and like a rocket, I zoomed
down the hill. My legs moved faster than I could think—zoom, zip, zap! I didn't stop to look back, not even once.
As I reached the bottom, I looked around. I had finished way before everyone else. Some kids were gasping, holding their knees.
