When Avery Kringle, famous holiday romance writer, is sent to Elf's Hollow to determine who is causing the dip in Christmas Spirit by her father she doesn't know what to expect, even though she's been on missions like this many times. So when she runs into grumpy Grayson, the owner of the bookstore she's scheduled to sign at she's shocked to find the place completely devoid of holiday cheer. Can she work her magic and break this bookseller out of his bah humbug mood? Or will she leave a failure, not just in her mission but also in love.
